About MSC Virtuosa

MSC Virtuosa is a magnificent Meraviglia Plus-class cruise ship owned and operated by MSC Cruises. Built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, she was delivered in February 2021 and entered service in May 2021, having been delayed from her original November 2020 debut due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This impressive vessel measures 331 metres in length and boasts a gross tonnage of 181,541 GT across 16 decks. She can accommodate up to 4,842 passengers in double occupancy, with a maximum capacity of 6,334 guests, supported by a crew of 1,704. As the sister ship to MSC Grandiosa, MSC Virtuosa represents the second vessel in MSC's innovative Meraviglia Plus class. The ship was christened in November 2021 with legendary actress Sophia Loren serving as godmother, continuing MSC's tradition of having distinguished sponsors for their flagship vessels.
