MS Arcadia is a distinguished cruise ship in the P&O Cruises fleet, built by Fincantieri at their shipyard in Marghera, Italy. Ordered in 2000 and entering service in April 2005, this impressive vessel represents a significant investment of US$400 million. The ship measures 289.90 metres in length and boasts a gross tonnage of over 84,000 GT, making it a substantial presence on the seas. Arcadia accommodates up to 2,094 passengers at maximum capacity, with a regular capacity of 1,952 guests, supported by a crew of 866. The ship features 11 decks and is powered by six Wärtsilä diesel engines, enabling her to cruise at speeds of up to 22 knots. As part of the Vista-class series, Arcadia combines modern engineering with elegant design, offering passengers a refined cruising experience whilst maintaining P&O Cruises' reputation for British hospitality and service excellence.
