Ambience is a distinguished cruise ship built by Fincantieri in Monfalcone, Italy, and launched in March 1990. Originally entering service in 1991 as Regal Princess, this impressive vessel has sailed under several names throughout her career before joining Ambassador Cruise Line as Ambience in 2022. At 70,285 gross tonnes and stretching 245 metres in length, Ambience features 11 passenger decks and offers accommodation for guests seeking a classic cruising experience. The ship is powered by four MAN B&W diesel engines in a diesel-electric configuration, enabling her to cruise comfortably at 20 knots. Built at a cost of US$276.8 million, Ambience represents excellent value engineering from the Fincantieri shipyard. Her substantial size and well-designed layout provide ample space for passengers to enjoy their voyage, whilst her experienced operational history demonstrates proven reliability across different cruise markets.
